मुस्लिमों का पवित्र त्यौहार चिल्लम हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी सितारगंज शहर में मनाया गया। जिसमें शहर लंगर लुटाए जाते हैं आसपास के गांव के लोगों ने सितारगंज शहर पहुंचकर बिष्टि चौराहे से लेकर कोतवाली सितारगंज अमरिया चौक होते हुए ताजियो को भिटौरा गांव में स्थित कर्बला में ताजियों को दफनाया गया।
बता दे कि चेल्लम शरीफ पैगंबर मोहम्मद साहब के नवासे हसन हुसैन को इराक के बगदाद में स्थित कर्बला के मैदान में शहीद कर दिया गया था तभी से मुस्लिम समाज के लोग हुसैन की याद में याद में हर वर्ष चिहलम मनाते हैं जिसमें बड़ी अकीदत के साथ ताजियों को सजाकर शहर के मुख्य सड़कों पर होते हुए कर्बला तक ले जाते हैं और उनको दफनाने की रस्म अदा करते हैं।

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear
and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it
pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
