त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत चुनाव के चल रहे मतदान का जायजा लेने सितारगंज पहुंचे जिलाधिकारी डॉक्टर नीरज खैरवाल एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक बरिंदर जीत सिंह ने संवेदनशील अति संवेदनशील सहित सभी मतदान केंद्रों का जायजा लिया। जिला अधिकारी डॉक्टर नीरज खैरवाल ने बताया सभी जगह सामान्य रूप से मतदान जारी है जो छूट मूट घटनाएं हुई थी उस पर कार्रवाई की जा रही है शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से मतदान प्रक्रिया संपन्न हो रही है
वही देखने मे आया जिलाधिकारी और पुलिस अधीक्षक के पहुंचने से पहले इसी बूथ परिसर मैं बड़ी लापरवाही देखने को मिली जहां खड़े वाहन पर प्रचार सामग्री लगी होने के बावजूद वाहन को अंदर आने दिया गया बूथ परिसर में खड़ी इस कर की फोटो खींचता देख हरकत में आए सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने वाहन को बूथ परिसर के बाहर निकलवाया।
वही पुलिस अधीक्षक बरिंदर जीत सिंह ने बताया कल शक्ति फार्म क्षेत्र में प्राइवेट वाहन से जा रही फोर्स पर शक के बिना पर कुछ लोगों द्वारा तोड़फोड़ की गई थी जिस पर मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया जा रहा है 5-7 लोगों को चिन्हित किया गया है
