ऊधमसिंहनगर जिले की नगरपालिका सितारगंज द्वारा 2 अक्टूबर महात्मा गांधी जयंती पर पॉलीथिन व प्लास्टिक हटाओ अभियान के तहत चलाया गया अभियान।जिसमे नगरपालिका अध्यक्ष, ई०ओ० व समस्त कर्मचारियों ने लिया भाग लोगो को किया गया प्लास्टिक सीगल यूज पॉलीथिन को न यूज करने के लिए जागरूक।

ऊधमसिंहनगर जिले की नगरपालिका द्वारा महात्मा गांधी की जयंती के शुभ अवसर पर प्लास्टिक पॉलीथिन हटाओ अभियान के तहत पूरे नगर में सफाई करते हुए अभियान चलाया गया। जिसमें नगरपालिका सितारगंज अध्यक्ष हरीश दुबे ने बताया कि प्लास्टिक पॉलीथिन हटाओ के तहत पूरे नगर में सफाई अभियान चलाया जा रहा है जिसमे नगरपालिका के अधिकारी व कर्मचारी व सफाई कर्मचारियों द्वारा बढ़ चढ़कर भाग लिया गया है।साथ-2 नगर के लोगो को जागरूक किया जा रहा है कि सरकार द्वारा पॉलीथिन पर प्रतिबंन्ध लग गया है। आप लोगो सिंगल यूज पोलिथिनो का प्रयोग न करे इससे हमारे पर्यावरण पर बुरा प्रभाव पड़ रहा है। साथ ही नगर के मुख्य चोक होते हुए अमरिया चौराहा तथा महाराणा प्रताप चौक तक सफाई अभियान चलाकर प्लास्टिक पॉलीथिन आदि के कूड़े को इकठ्ठा करके सफाई अभियान चलाया गया। ये अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा।
