मतदान में सबकी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए स्वीप के तहत जूनियर हाईस्कूल व जनता इण्टर काॅलेज सलूड-डुॅग्रा में सोमवार को मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान चुनाव पाठशाला, रन फाॅर वोट, मेहन्दी प्रतियोगिता एवं जनजागरूकता रैली निकालकर मतदान की शपथ ली गई। कार्यक्रम के दौरान आदर्श आचार संहिता की जानकारी भी दी गई। बताया कि आचार संहित के उलंघन पाये जाने पर कोई भी व्यक्ति चुनाव आयोग के मोबाईल एप सीविजिल पर तत्काल इसकी सूचना दे सकते है।
उप जिलाधिकारी जोशीमठ बैभव गुप्ता ने मजबूत लोकतंत्र के लिए हर मतदाता के वोट को जरूरी बताते हुए सभी मतदाताओं को मतदान करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। खण्ड शिक्षा अधिकारी विवेक पंवार, दशोली ब्लाक समन्वयक जीतेन्द्र सिंह नेगी एवं प्रधानाचार्य ने मतदान को लोकतंत्र का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अधिकार बताते हुए एक-एक वोट के महत्व को समझाया। कहा कि हमें अपने अधिकारों का सम्मान करते हुए अधिक से अधिक संख्या में मतदान करना चाहिए। इस दौरान स्थानीय बीएलओ, शिक्षक, आशा व आंगनबाडी कार्यकत्री, छात्र-छात्राऐं तथा भारी संख्या में स्थानीय जनता मौजूद थी। कार्यक्रम का संचालन रा0जू0हाईस्कूल सलूड डुॅग्रा के प्रधानाध्यापक दर्शन लाल भारती ने किया।
वही दूसरी ओर पिछले चुनाव में कम मतदान प्रतिशत को देखते हुए गोपेश्वर गावं के राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय में भी नुक्कड़ नाटक एवं महेंदी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कर लोगों को जागरूक किया गया। इस दौरान गोपीनाथ कला मंच के कलाकारों ने नुक्कड नाटक के माध्यम से मतदान के महत्व को समझाया। बालिका इण्टर काॅलेज, गोपेश्वर की एनएसएस छात्राओं ने मेंहदी प्रतियोगिता से लोगों को मतदान में भाग लेने का संदेश दिया। इस दौरान स्थानीय जनता मौजूद थी।
