डीएम चमोली ने स्वच्छता को लेकर दिलाई शपथ

राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ गंगा मिशन, जल शक्ति मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार व राज्य परियोजना प्रबन्धन ग्रुप, नमामि गंगे, उत्तराखण्ड सरकार के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में जिला गंगा समिति, चमोली द्वारा नगरीय क्षेत्र में स्वच्छता ही सेवा कार्यक्रम के तहत शुक्रवार को जीजीआईसी गोपेश्वर में गंगा स्वच्छता गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। जिलाधिकारी स्वाति एस भदौरिया एवं मुख्य विकास अधिकारी हंसादत्त पांडे ने दीप प्रज्जवलित कर स्वच्छता अभियान को सफल बनाने पर जोर दिया। स्कूली छात्राओं ने चित्रकला, नुक्कड नाटक, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों, भाषण प्रतियोगिता एवं रैली निकालकर लोगों को स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक किया। इस दौरान पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने, अपने आस पास सफाई रखने तथा पाॅलिथीन का प्रयोग न करने की शपथ भी ली गई।

जिलाधिकारी स्वाति एस भदौरिया ने कहा पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखना हम सबकी जिम्मेदारी है। इसके लिए हम सभी को अपनी आदतों में परिवर्तन लाना होगा। प्लास्टिक व पाॅलीथीन के इस्तेमाल से होने वाले नुकसान की जानकारी देते हुए उन्होंने सभी को इनका इस्तेमाल पूरी तरह से बंद करने पर जोर दिया। कहा कि पाॅलीथीन से जहां एक ओर पर्यावरण प्रदूषित हो रहा है वही इससे हमारे स्वास्थ्य पर भी प्रतिकूल असर पड रहा है। उन्होंने सभी को अपने घर-परिवार व आसपास के लोगों को सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक को पूरी तरह से बंद करने तथा बाजार व दुकान से सामान के लिए कपडे के थैले का ही इस्तेमाल करने हेतु लोगों को जागरूक करने की बात कही। उन्होंने अधिक से अधिक पौधरोपण व नदी नालों की साफ रखने में भी सभी योगदान करने की अपील की।

मुख्य विकास अधिकारी हंसादत्त पांडे ने कहा कि क्लाइमेट परिवर्तन का असर दिखने लगा है। अगर समय रहते हुए गंगा एवं उसकी सहायक नदियों में प्रवाहित होने वाली गंदगी को रोका नही गया तो आने वाले समय में हमें और भी भयावह स्थिति का सामना करना पड सकता है। इसलिए हम सभी को पर्यावरण के प्रति सजग रहकर अपने परिवेश में साफ-सफाई रखने तथा पाॅलीथीन के प्रयोग को पूरी तरह से बंद करना ही होगा। उन्होंने जैविक और अजैविक कूडे को भी अलग-अलग एकत्रित करने और इसके रिसाइकिलि के बारे में भी जानकारी दी गई। उन्होंने स्वयं सेवी संगठनों, सिविल सोसाइटी, स्कूल, काॅलेज और हर व्यक्ति से पर्यावरण संरक्षण की अपील की। कहा कि इस क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ठ कार्य करने वालों को पुरस्कृत भी किया जाएगा।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान जिलाधिकारी ने स्वच्छता पर छात्राओं द्वारा बनाई गई आकर्षक चित्रकला प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन करते हुए प्रतियोगिता की विजेता छात्राओं को प्रतीक चिन्ह देकर पुरस्कृत भी किया। चित्रकला में कक्षा 6 से 8 वर्ग में लक्ष्मी ने प्रथम, हिमानी ने द्वितीय तथा शानियां ने तृतीय पुरस्कार जीता। कक्षा 9 व 10 वर्ग में आंकाक्षा, निर्मला व अंजली ने क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार जीता, जबकि कक्षा 11 व 12 में दक्षिता को प्रथम, ईश्ता को द्वितीय तथा कनुप्रिया ने तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। इससे पूर्व छात्राओं ने गोपेश्वर नगर क्षेत्र में रैली निकालकर लोगों को स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक किया गया।

इस अवसर पर कार्यक्रम के समन्वयक राज्य परियोजना प्रबन्धन ग्रुप नमामि गंगे के संचार विशेषज्ञ  पूरन कापड़ी, जिला सैनिक कल्याण अधिकारी बीएस रावत, सीएचओ नरेन्द्र यादव, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी आशुतोष भण्डारी, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी बेसिक नरेश कुमार हल्दयानी, बीईओ डीएल टम्टा, डीएसडब्लूओ सुरेन्द्र लाल, वन क्षेत्राधिकारी सर्वेश कुमार दुबे, एसडीओ अमरेश कुमार, रेजंर आरती मैठाणी, कमल लाल भारती, गंगल सिंह राणा आदि सहित स्कूल की शिक्षिकाएं व छात्राएं मौजूद थी।
