बंसीनारायण मे स्वर्गीय दरमान सिह भंड़ारी और उनकी पत्नी स्वर्गीय कलावती देवी को किया गया याद
जोशीमठ उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्र में स्थित भगवान बंसी नारायण का मंदिर समुद्रतल से 12 हजार फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है. रक्षाबंधन के पर्व पर आसपास रहने वाली बहनें भगवान बंसी नारायण को राखी बांधने के बाद ही अपने भाइयों की कलाई पर रक्षा सूत्र बंधती हैं. सूर्यास्त होते ही भगवान बंसी नारायण के मंदिर के कपाट एक साल के लिए फिर से बंद कर दिए जाते हैं.
देवभूमि का ये अकेला एक ऐसा मंदिर है. जो सिर्फ रक्षा बंधन के दिन ही खुलता है. कुंवारी कन्याओं के साथ-साथ विवाहिताएं भी भगवान बंसी नारायण को राखी बांधती हैं. स्थानीय लोगों का मानना है कि यहां पर रक्षाबंधन के दिन भगवान बंसी नारायणअपने भक्तों को दर्शन देते है. इस दौरान

ग्राम किमाणा तथा मन्दिर समिति कलगोठ द्वारा एक विशाल भण्डारे का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे उर्गम पल्ला जखोला किमाणा डुमक कलगोठ लाजी पोखनी ह्यूणा द्विग तपोण से लगभग दो हजार लोगो ने यहां पर दर्शन किया
