खबर उधम सिंह नगर जनपद के खटीमा विधानसभा क्षेत्र से है। सीमांत खटीमा विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अशोक फार्म मे मेलाघाट मुख्य सड़क से लेकर खालीमहुवट गुरुद्वारे तक लगभग 650 मीटर सड़क निर्माण का कार्य शुरू हो गया है जिसका भूमि पूजन विधिवत पूजा अर्चना के बाद उत्तराखंड सीएम पत्नी गीता धामी द्वारा शुभारंभ किया गया। इस दौरान सड़क शुभारंभ पर स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी तथा उनकी पत्नी गीता धामी का आभार व्यक्त किया। वही गीता धामी ने बताया कि आज अशोक फार्म में 650 मीटर सड़क निर्माण हेतु भूमि पूजन हुआ है इसके साथ ही अनेकों सड़कों का शुभारंभ हुआ है और खटीमा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में सैकड़ों सड़कें बनने जा रही है जिसको लेकर क्षेत्र के लोगों में काफी उत्साह और खुशी है। उन्होंने बताया कि माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी उत्तराखंड के विकास तथा जनहित मे लगातार नए नए निर्णय ले रहे हैं, जन कल्याणकारी योजनाएं ला रहे हैं जिससे लोगों में काफी जोश और उत्साह है तथा इस बार फिर युवा शक्ति ने ठाना है कि धामी जी को भारी मतों से खटीमा क्षेत्र से विजई बनाएंगे।
