लेकिन नगर में लगा गंदगी का अंबार रैली के भरोसे कैसे होगी नगर की स्वच्छता
थराली / स्वच्छ भारत मिशन शहरी के तहत नगर पंचायत थराली ने नगर क्षेत्र में जन जागरूकता रैली निकालकर नगर क्षेत्र को स्वच्छ बनाए रखने में नागरिकों से सहयोग की अपील की।
शनिवार को नगर पंचायत थराली के बैनर तले एक जागरुकता रैली का आयोजन किया गया। रैली नगर पंचायत कार्यालय से निकाली गई जोकि नगर क्षेत्र के मुख्य बाजार थराली से होते हुए, मस्जिद मार्केट,अएबीआई बाजार होते हुए वापस लौटा इस दौरान रैली में सम्लित तमाम जनप्रतिनिधियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने सड़क के आसपास फैले जैविक एवं अजैविक कुड़े को एकत्रित कर उसे निस्तारित किया। साथ ही आम नागरिकों से नगर क्षेत्र को स्वच्छ बनाने के लिए पंचायत का सहयोग करने की अपील की।
रैली के वापस निकाय कार्यालय के पहुंचने के बाद एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। जिसमें थराली नगर पंचायत की अध्यक्ष दीपा भारती, एवं ब्लाक प्रमुख थराली कविता नेगी ने कहा कि अपने आसपास के वातावरण को स्वछ रख कर तमाम रोगों से बचा जा सकता हैं। नागरिकों को प्रयास करना चाहिए कि सप्ताह में कम से कम एक बार सामुहिक रूप से स्वछता अभियान के तहत अपने आवादी क्षेत्र के आसपास सफाई करें ताकि थराली नगर स्वच्छ रखा जा सके।इस मौके पर सभासद सीमा देवी, नंदू बहुगुणा, केदार पंत, नगर पंचायत के कर्मी केसर सिंह, जगमोहन सिंह, रॉबिन, रजनी उनियाल, सुरेंद्र सिंह, महेश प्रकाश, विनोद बिष्ट आदि ने भी विचार व्यक्त किए।
