चमोली में छठवां राष्ट्रीय हथकरघा दिवस शुक्रवार को धूमधाम से मनाया गया। मुख्य विकास अधिकारी हंसादत्त पांडे की अध्यक्षता में विकास भवन सभागार में आयोजित समारोह में बद्रीनाथ विधायक महेन्द्र प्रसाद भट्ट ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत की। हथकरघा एवं बुनकर कारीगरों को बुनाई, रंगाई एवं तकनीकी क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी देकर आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए हर साल 7 अगस्त को बुनकर सेवा केन्द्र के माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय हथकरघा दिवस मनाया जाता है।

मुख्य अतिथि बद्रीनाथ विधायक ने बुनकरों एवं उद्यमियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हथकरघा उद्योग ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था का अभिन्न अंग है और इसको बढावा देने के लिए हर आवश्यक कदम उठाए जा रहे है। बुनकर सेवा केन्द्र के माध्यम से बुनकरों के लिए कई कल्याणकारी योजनाएं कार्यान्वित की जा रही है। बुनकरों को इन योजनाओं का लाभ उठाना चाहिए। विधायक ने कहा कि बुनकरों को अच्छा पारिश्रमिक मिल सके इसके लिए बुनकरों के हथकरघा उत्पादों के विपणन की अच्छी व्यवस्था कर हथकरघा उत्पादों को प्रोत्साहित किए जाना जरूरी है।

मुख्य विकास अधिकारी हंसादत्त पांडे ने हथकरघा एवं बुनकर कारीगरों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हथकरघा एक परम्परागत व्यवसाय है, जो कृषि के बाद कई लोगों को रोजगार दे रहा है। हथकरघा उद्योग को तेजी से बढ़ते आर्थिक, सामाजिक और तकनीकि परिवर्तनों के द्वारा उत्पन्न की जा रही चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए स्वयं को नई दिशा देने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने हथरकघा उत्पाद के व्यवसाय को बढावा देने के लिए बाजार पर विशेष फोकस करने को कहा। बाजार प्रतिस्पर्धा में बने रहने के लिए बाजार की मांग एवं आवश्यकताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए हथकरघा उत्पाद तैयार करने की बात कही। हथरकघा एवं बुनकर से ब्राॅन्ड उत्पाद तैयार कर लोकल एवं ग्लोवल बाजार विकसित करने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि जिले में हर वर्ष देश-विदेश से लाखों श्रद्धालु एवं पर्यटकों के आने से हमारे पास मार्केट खुद चल कर आ रहा है। हमें सिर्फ उनकी आवश्यकता एवं मांगों के आधार पर बा्रॅन्डेड उत्पाद तैयार कर उनका व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार करना होगा। उन्होंने बताया कि हथकरघा एवं बुनकर व्यवसाय को बढावा देने के लिए सरकार की ओर से सभी प्रयास एवं सहयोग दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने नई पीढी को हरकरघा उद्योग से जोड़ने एवं नई तकनीकी को अपनाने पर जोर दिया।
महाप्रबन्धक जिला उद्योग केन्द्र डा. एमएस सजवाण ने सरकार द्वारा संचालित योजनाओं की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि पूरे देश में 28 बुनकर सेवा केन्द्र है, उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में केवल एक बनुकर सेवा केन्द्र है जो चमोली जिले में है तथा जिले में 900 से अधिक लोग बुनकर व्यवसाय से जुड़े है। उन्होंने बताया कि बुनकरों के समूहों को एक ही स्थान पर विभिन्न प्रकार की सुविधायें उपलब्ध कराये जाने के उदेश्य से राष्ट्रीय हैण्डलूम विकास कार्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत ‘‘ब्लाॅक स्तर क्लस्टर योजना‘‘ संचालित की जा रही है। कार्यक्रम का संचालन बनुकर सेवा केन्द्र सहायक निदेशक विनय कुमार ने किया।
