माणा घाटी और नीति घाटी को जोड़ने वाले दोनों हाईवे इन दिनो भारी बारिश के चलते हो रहे भूस्खलन के बाद बंद पड़े हुए हैं भारी बारिश के चलते नीति मोटर मार्ग सलधार के पास पिछले 3 दिनों से बंद पड़ा हुआ है।
वही बद्रीनाथ नेशनल हाईवे हनुमान चट्टी और और लामबगड़ के पास बार बार मलवा आने से बंद हो रहा है जिससे तीर्थ यात्रियों को भी काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। हालांकि लामबगड़ में NH कंपनी मार्ग खोले में जुटी हुई है लेकिन लगातार पहाड़ी से गिर रहे बोल्ड़र उनके लिए भी आफत बन रहे हैं ।
वही नीति घाटी को जोड़ने वाले राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को खोलने के लिए भी बीआरओ ने कमर कसी हुई है रात दिन काम करने के बाद भी सलधार के पास अभी तक मार्ग नहीं खुल पाया है हालांकि आज देर शाम तक मार्ग खोलने की संभावनाएं जताई जा रही है लेकिन लगातार बारिश से पहाड़ी से मलबा गिरने का सिलसिला भी जारी है ।
जोशीमठ के उप जिला अधिकारी योगेंद्र सिंह ने बताया है कि मार्ग खोलने के लिए सारी मशीनें लगा दी गई है और मार्ग जल्दी से जल्दी दुरुस्त कर लिए जाएंगे
